I’m taking advantage of a warm November day to verify some final details for Iowa Parklands first product offering. A Ledges State Park trail map bandana seemed like an appropriate initial item to create and share with people.
I have a strong connection with the Ledges and have visited the park with family and friends in each decade since I was born. I remember protesting the construction of Saylorville damn with my 3rd grade class and the flooding that Saylorville reservoir would bring to the Ledges. In college at Iowa State, my friends and I would road trip to the Ledges for an impromptu picnic and Frisbee. More recently, my wife and two boys spent many weekends camping in our popup camper and hiking.
The bandana map has been designed to be functional and attractive with several color options. The focus for the bandana map will be on the trails. Check out the paper mock-up in the photo above. As of today, I am on schedule to have this available in an online store soon.
